Wine Sample Holder

This is a relatively functional piece, to suit a particular size and number of wine samples most often received of a weekend by the client. Because of its diminutive size, an exotic timber was selected from David’s timber store. After considering various types of Ebony and Rosewood, and species like Cocobolo, Kingwood, Tulipwood and Zebrano, the client chose West Australia Sheoak. It is hard and beautiful, and not too expensive, although it is getting harder and harder to source.
